Howard Hecht is a customer-focused, transformational Technology Executive with over 25 years of results-based international leadership and technology strategy experience. He has global Technology Strategy and Roadmapping experience at multiple companies and has led $9M Ascend Learning Data Center Consolidation, migrated 17 sites into private Cloud: in scope, under budget by $400k and delivered early by 1 month. Howard has experience in IT Transformations of Infrastructure, Network & Database architecture/support functionality, strategy, leadership, and staffing. He has also established Technology Project Management Offices & process and deployed over two dozen customer Cloud Computing data center environments (PaaS, IaaS) to Thomson Reuters Eagan, MN data centers. Howard is a seasoned technology presenter at many technology forums, conferences and Webex's. He has led the migration of Westlaw to a new News and Business content provider, including the New York Times. He has managed Thomson's Customer Network, Network Measurement, and Network Support Center teams, responsible for engineering, implementation, monitoring, and maintenance of 600+ WAN connections. Howard is a Cisco Certified Network Associate and a certified Project Management Professional through PMI. He earned his BA at the University of Minnesota-Morris in Physics and Mathematics with a minor in Business-Economics. He is also a past Board Member of the University of Minnesota-Morris Alumni Association (7 years) and the Director of Information Technology-Shareholder at Double-H Charolais, a Minnesota-based purebred seedstock operation recognized globally as a leader within the cattle industry.
